3rd Shift CNC Machine Operator $20.64 per hour!

Gainesville, Ga

 

Axiom Staffing in partnership with ZF Wind Power in Gainesville is seeking a few experienced CNC Machine Operators for 3rd shift. Will not be required to set up machines, will need to complete change-overs as needed.

 

Compensation and Benefits for the 3rd Shift CNC Machine Operator

  • $20.64 per hour

  • 3rd shift - 10:30pm-7:00am + overtime and weekends (must train on 1st shift)

  • Excellent benefit package once fulltime with ZF

 

Duties and Responsibilities of the 3rd Shift CNC Machine Operator

  • Produces parts according to standard work procedures at respective workstations in accordance with bill of material, control plans, or work instructions.

  • Lifting 50+ pounds consistently

  • Operate CNC machine centers and/or material handling equipment (overhead cranes, lift assists, etc) safely and effectively.

  • Understand X, Y, and Z axis centerline pick up (as applicable).

  • Set up and adjust tools and/or make tool offsets as needed to ensure accurate machining.

  • Interpret SPC data and make adjustments as needed.

  • Perform preventive maintenance and maintain PM records per required frequency.

  • Communicate issues between shifts.

  • Produce product safely, maintaining the quality standards within the standard cycle time.

  • Complete required paperwork (TPM sheets, P.I.S. cards, log books, production records, etc.)

  • Assist the team in training new operators.

  • Maintain housekeeping practices in accordance to 5S standards.

  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts (ZFPS) and provide feedback.

  • Understands and complies with ISO 9001, TS 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements.

  • Performs special projects as requested and related tasks as needed.

  • Working knowledge of CNC controllers such as Siemens, Fanuc, etc.

  • Working knowledge of creating and maintaining SPC, understanding metric system and Lean manufacturing concepts.

  • Working knowledge of SAP.
