Job Description
Stand Up Forklift Operator
Gainesville, Ga
Axiom Staffing Group is seeking multiple 2nd shift stand up forklift operators for a large manufacturing facility in Gainesville, Ga. 2nd shift is typically 5:30pm-finish, Monday-Friday and 2-3 Sundays a month. OVERTIME is required. The schedule MAY change to 5:30pm-4am, Monday-Thursday and Fridays as needed. 2-3 years+ stand up forklift experience required.
Stand Up Forklift Operator Position Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently picks and delivers parts as required
- Performs daily inspections and safely operates Raymond powered industrial vehicles including Raymond Tuggers and Stand Up Forklifts; maintains valid certification on this equipment
- Uses scanner to scan parts into correct location and conducts bin to bin moves
- Conducts audits to ensure parts are being scanned using e-kanban system
- Adheres to safety policies and dock operation standards
- Maintains 5S compliant work areas
- Supports ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 requirements
- Performs special projects as requested and related tasks as needed
