Axiom Staffing Group is looking for a skilled 2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What You'll Do

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production machinery and conveyor systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment and accurately document completed work.
• Complete machine changeovers and equipment setups to support production schedules.
• Identify equipment issues and make repairs to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, technical drawings, and maintenance manuals.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to resolve equipment concerns.
• Assist with machine upgrades, retrofits, and continuous improvement projects.
• Help maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.
• Operate forklifts, man lifts, and other maintenance equipment as needed.
• Assist with general facility maintenance projects.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety policies.

What We're Looking For

• Trade school certification or an Associate's Degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical, Electrical, or a related field preferred.
• Up to 4 years of industrial maintenance, mechanical, and electrical experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills for production equipment.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with multiple departments.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Forklift and/or aerial lift experience is a plus.
