- Monday to Thursday: 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

- Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

- Saturday: 6:00 AM – 12:00 PM

- Sunday: Off

Overview:

Axiom Staffing is hiring for a Maintenance Mechanic for a leading water chemical manufacturer. The ideal candidate will have a background in a manufacturing environment and possess essential mechanical skills to ensure the smooth operation of our production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on production equipment.

- Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics to identify potential issues before they lead to equipment failure.

- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation for all performed tasks.

- Collaborate with other maintenance team members and production staff to resolve equipment-related issues and minimize downtime.

- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

- Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment as needed.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or vocational training in mechanical maintenance is a plus.

- Proven experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in a manufacturing environment.

- Basic understanding of mechanical systems, electrical systems, and hydraulic systems.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Willingness to work the required shift schedule, including some overtime as needed.
