Job Description
Axiom Staffing is seeking a 1st shift shipping candidate at a food distribution company in Hampstead, MD.
M -F 6:30a-3pm / overtime is mandatory and some Sats. are required.
Earn up to $750.00 in sign on bonuses
Responsibilities:
•
The Shipping Clerk will properly load and unload all trucks coming in and out of the plant
•
While also insuring all materials received are secured properly and scanned for inventory accuracy and traceability
•
Matches each load with the invoice provided for that individual order
•
Ensures that all damaged product is removed before shipment
•
Sends the proper paperwork along with each truck/trailer and ensues that it is forwarded to the proper departments
•
Keeps work area clean
•
Operates electric jacks and High Lift in a safe manner at all times
•
Performs other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Good attendance
- Communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with co-workers, vendors, and others
- Able to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
- Must have good organization skills
- Must be willing to wear steel-toed shoes
