Job Description
- Axiom Staffing is seeking Machine Operators at a company in Hanover, PA.
- Position Summary: The objective of the Thermoforming Machine operator is to prepare and operate thermoforming machine according to trained guidelines and specifications by performing the essential job functions listed below while maintaining a high level of quality and performance standards. In addition to the below functions, the Thermoforming Machine Operator will perform any additional tasks as assigned by the management team.
Essential Job Functions:
- Read and understand in English, the Work Orders, work instructions, and prints for jobs.
- Capable of reading part drawings and understanding tolerance requirements.
- Utilizes many different measuring devices daily to check and verify accuracy of work.
- Knowledge of basic machine operation and forming materials.
- Performs Operator daily maintenance of machine and set up jobs as required to keep up with the scheduled demands.
- Monitor quality of machine on an hourly period and maximize output of product
- Able to learn quickly and retain information
- Must communicate and work with Supervisor and coworkers daily to address any issues or concerns and any continuous improvement ideas.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
