Staffing Recruiter
Job Description
Axiom Staffing is hiring for a Staffing Recruiter opening.
This position is hourly during your temp to hire period. Once you complete 480 hours with Axiom, you will be converted to the client and become salary.
The Recruiter will collaborate with department managers on a regular basis and proactively identify future hiring needs. The Recruiter should be able to attract candidates using various sources, like social media networks and employee referrals. The ideal candidate holds an academic Human Resources background combined with work experience in screening, interviewing, and assessing candidates. The Recruiter reports to the Human Resources Manager; previous Recruiting experience is required.
Job Category: Hourly, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Design and implement overall recruiting strategy.
- Develop and update job descriptions and job specifications.
- Perform job and task analysis to document job requirements and objectives.
- Prepare recruitment materials and post jobs to appropriate job board/newspapers/colleges etc.
- Source and recruit candidates by using databases, social media, and other resources.
- Screen candidates resumes and job applications.
- Conduct interviews using various reliable recruiting and selection tools/methods to filter candidates.
- Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes.
- Onboard new employees.
- Monitor and apply HR recruiting best practices.
- Provide analytical and well documented recruiting reports to management.
- Act as a point of contact and build influential candidate relationships during the interview process.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Other duties as assigned. Our client maintains a "flexible" office administration approach requiring frequent adjustments on both temporary and permanent basis; this is a Team approach to all administrative tasks.
Requirements and Skills:
- Proven work experience as a Recruiter (either an in-house recruiter or a staffing agency recruiter).
- Solid ability to conduct different types of interviews (structured, competency-based, stress, etc.).
- Hands on experience with various selection processes (video interviewing, phone interviewing, reference checks).
- Familiarity with HR databases, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Candidate Management Systems (CMS).
- Hands-on experience with recruiting software, as well as Human Resource. Information Systems (HRIS) or Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong decision-making skills.

Education & Experience Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years recruiting experience
- Prior HR experience is a plus
Salary & Compensation:
The Recruiter position is a full-time hourly position with approximate pay dependent upon qualifications and experience.
