Axiom Staffing Group is seeking to fill the position of Senior SharePoint Developer with our client located in Washington, DC. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity that offers a competitive salary/benefits package. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Conducting systems analysis and programming activities related to the development, maintenance, and installation of computer programs to support internal business operations
  • Apply advanced principles, theories, and concepts to job assignments and contribute to the development of new ideas and principles
  • Solve uniquely complex problems, working under consultative direction
  • Speak for the organization to internal and external customers regularly and work on long-range programs and objectives
  • Provide advice to the organization in the area of expertise. Play a role in overall functional strategic planning




  • Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree preferred
  • 8+ years of experience with software engineering and full life cycle development
  • Experience with producing responsive, multi-platform web applications using a variety of integrated development environments, graphics software applications, techniques, and tools at a senior level
  • Experience with advanced workflows, multi-group permissions, and sub-site management, enforcing visual and UI/UX consistencies for third-party sites, and expanding the capabilities of out-of-the-box SharePoint including SharePoint Designer, CSS, HTML5, or JavaScript
  • Experience with procurement and related processes and workflows
  • Knowledge of web development in Microsoft SharePoint 2013 and 2016, network engineering, SQL Server databases, and desktop applications
  • Knowledge of relational database design and query concepts
  • Knowledge of current web-based technologies and trends, including HTML5, JavaScript, AJAX, CSS3, and media querie, OS/PowerShell scripting and SharePoint Platform and Content Management development
  • Ability to translate client requirements into application designs and systems requirements
  • Ability to assist with the collection and documentation of user's requirements, develop user stories, estimates, synchronization, security, and accessibility of production web and business applications
  • Experience with developing, deploying, and supporting SharePoint 2013 sites using languages and tools, including HTML5, CSS, SharePoint Designer, or InfoPath

Preferred Skills:

  • 3 or more years of consulting experience
  • PMP or CAPM preferred
  • Experience on large transformation, system integration, and/orarchitecture contracts
  • Understanding and proven application of project management best practices such as PMI's PMBOK
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to define, collect, and analyze data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and make logical decisions
